As the lines between the digital and analog application of games blurs, we have just heard the announcement of a real time strategy video game based in the Scythe universe called
Iron Harvest. Not much has been mentioned other than the style and setting of the game, but they do promise
"a dynamic storyline and open, sandbox-style levels". Real time strategy games have typically been games based around building up your base and armies and then working to accomplish an objective or just wipe out your opponents. Being able to do this in the Scythe universe could be a whole lot of fun. You can check out more on the upcoming game on
Polygon, and then consider grabbing a copy of
Scythe to play.
