Now on Kickstarter from GreaterThanGames, Lazer Ryderz!

lazer-ryders If took the 80's, swirled them around in a pot, and then poured it into a box, you would have close to the look of what you are getting with Lazer Ryderz.  Lazer Ryderz is the latest Kickstarter game from GreaterThanGames, and seems to take a movement mechanic and turn it into it's own game.  The game is quick and easy and involves you choosing to either go faster or slower, and then if you want to turn or go straight, that's it.  The goal of the game is to collect and score the prisms on the table, but to do that you have to pass fully through the prism, once you do that you change it out for your color prism.  Manage to get three prisms of your color on the board and you win.  Oh, and it's not as easy as it sounds, especially since this is like light bike racing from TRON where if you intersect someone's trail, even your own, you crash.  Crashing starts you back at the edge of the table and gives the other players a chance to steal the prisms that you got. Those who have played X-Wing before will pick this game up quickly as the movement in this game reflects that closely, but with the crashing and prism scoring it has set itself apart.  If a box full of the 80's sounds like fun to you, then head on over to the campaign page to pledge for your own copy.
