Origins Announces First Annual Film Festival

Origins would like to announce the first annual ORIGINS FILM FESTIVAL™, which will be held at Origins in Columbus, Ohio from June 15 to June 19, 2016.  The festival will be showcasing independent feature and short films of any genre related to gaming, sci-fi or fantasy. Awards given during the festival will include:

• BEST FEATURE FILM
• BEST SHORT FILM
• BEST GAMING FILM 
• BEST SCI-FI FILM 
• BEST FANTASY FILM

Origins is taking submissions for the film festival until May 1, 2016.  Filmmakers will be granted a 5-day full-access badge to the Origins Game Fair, and winners of the above awards will also receive two full show passes each for next year’s Game Fair.
