Jack Vasel Memorial Fund Auction Approaching!

October 21st through November 14th

As many of you know, each year the Jack Vasel Memorial Fund holds an annual charity auction here on BGG. Last year we smashed the total of all previous auctions, and I know this year will be no different. It is because of the generous donations of folks like you that the JVMF has been able to help dozens of families in need over the past few years. So I'm here to announce the dates of this year's auction - October 21st through Nov 14th. That's just about a week away!

What can you do to help?

Start rummaging through your closet for games and any other items of geeky goodness (books, video games, RPGs, plush Cthulhus). Once the auction starts you can add them to the auction geeklist for others to bid on. Spread the word! The more people who know about the auction, the better! If you have gamer friends and family who aren't active on BGG, let them know about this amazing charity and auction. And point your BGG friends to the auction as well - every year there are folks who just miss it, so let's spread the word far and wide so that doesn't happen this year! Add user JVMFauction to your GeekBuddy list. We will send out a geekmail notification once the auction begins to everyone on that account's friend list.
