Board gaming is an awesome hobby, one that we enjoy and revel in, and when we are playing our favorite game, can be close to heaven on earth.  But there is always one variable when playing even your favorite game, the other people, and they can either elevate the experience to something memorable, or cause you to hate a game that you love.  And lets all admit it, we know at least a couple people which we wouldn't game with because of their personalities, from being overbearing alpha gamers, to sore losers, to people who turn those nose up at anything that isn't a 3 hour long euro.  The Dice Tower podcast itself has showcased some of these instances on their Tales of Board Gaming Horror where a normal game is turned into something, horrific.  But all is not lost, there are some things you can do about it, chief of all being to separate yourself from the gamer or game group that is causing your frustration and loss of fun.  So the folks over at I Slay the Dragon have written an article about the kinds of fun-suckers you can run into and some thing you can do about it.  And always remember, gaming is play and games are meant to be fun. (at least I think they are)
