steve jackson games Investigating Steve Jackson Games's upcoming June releases, it's Munchkin all the way down. Expansions, reprints, and one new stand-alone Munchkin set. One important note about the reprints, they are all in full color, whereas many of the Munchkin first printings featured cards in only gray scale. So even if you already own some of these, there's still reason to take a look. For all Munchkin fans, prepare to drink your fill! unnatural axe Munchkin 2: Unnatural Axe A new reprint of this title, originally released in 2002. This collection of 112 cards includes plenty of ways to kill monsters and take their stuff. Fiendish foes include the Hydrant and the Tentacle Demon. Equipment includes the Spiked Codpiece. And a brand new race: The Orcs! You can be an Orc now. Despite the name, this is not a sequel to Munchkin but an add-on you will still need the base game to play. clerical errors Munchkin 3: Clerical Errors If you couldn't get enough of Munchkin 2, and wished they made a Munchkin 3 you are in luck. Munchkin 3 was originally published in 2003. People kept buying it, forcing them to print more. Munchin 3 still requires the base game, and adds 112 more monster-killing, treasure-collecting cards. You get a new race: Gnomes. You get a new Class: Bards. There are hilarious monsters like the Tequila Mockingbird. There are hilarious equipment pieces like the Chainmail Bikini. One of the cooler things about this set is the appearance of guest artists…one card each has been illustrated by the likes of  Phil Foglio, Pete Abrams, Tom Ricket, Jon Roseberg and Randy Mihoulland. Not that I don't like John Kovalic. need for steed Munchkin 4: The Need for Steed How about more Munchkin cards? The Need for Steed gets you 112 of them. Originally printed in 2005, this epic expansion comes around again. Per the title, you get animals to ride while you kill monsters and backstab your fellow players. Steeds include the Dragon, Tiger, Giant Mutant Gerbil, Chicken and even a guy named Big Joe. Besides steeds, Munchkin 4 also beefs up the Hirelings in the deck, adding characters with valuable special abilities. deranged Munchkin 5: De-Ranged Another 112 card supplement full of twisted humor. Originally printed in 2007, now you get another crack at it with a full reprint. Includes a new class: Ranger. New Treasures like the Philosopher's Scone, Racing Stripes (for the steeds from Munchkin 4!) and Carbonated Holy Water. Monsters include the Telemarketer and the Poultrygeist. Similar to Munchkin 3, Munchkin 5 includes guest appearances…this time unique monsters added to previous European Munchkin editions and now translated into English for the first time. Like the Snerks, a parody of everyone's favorite little blue demons. clown wars Star Munchkin 2: The Clown Wars Let's switch genres for a moment. Munchkin's certainly not just for fantasy fans. And for the sci-fi junkies there is Star Munchkin. Originally printed in 2004, The Clown Wars adds another 112 cards to the base Star Munchkin game.  You get the new race: Bugs. You get equipment like the X-Rayser and monsters like the Nerds of Prey. Also includes a helper called Ralph, the Wonder Dog. I won't go out into space without him. dip immunity Star Munchkin 3: Diplomatic Impunity A brand new Munchkin release! NEW in 2015, Diplomatic Impunity adds an incredible 112 more cards to supplement your Star Munchkin collection. New Races, Monsters, Traps and Treasures are packed in here for making your space buffoonery even more epic. Details are still somewhat slim, but keep an eye out and more info is certainly to come as we get closer to June.
