Yomi: a fighting game in card form. Learn your character, practice combos, and read the opponent's tendencies. In Yomi you get to play a fighting game with cards. There are 20 different decks, each one representing a different character, each one with their own moves and special abilities. The combo system is pretty fun and lets you string together moves, just like in a fighting game.

As a tournament Street Fighter player and lead designer of Street Fighter HD Remix, designer David Sirlin loved the interesting gameplay situations and mindgames that came up, but he knew lots of people would never experience them because of the dexterity requirements. The Yomi card game translates those mindgames into a form everyone can enjoy. It's more than just mindgames though: it's a strategy game involving hand management and combos that's been tuned for years for tournament play. Plus it's pretty easy to learn for casual play too.
The closing date on Kickstarter is July 17, 2014, the current pledged amount is $66,374 and the funding goal for the project is $30,000. Pledge $40 for 4 decks: Grave, Jaina, Midori, Setsuki - A great place to start if you haven't played Yomi. Estimated delivery: Dec 2014
