Masterminds & Mayhem expansion for Batman Gotham City Under Siege

Last year, IDW Games published a board game based on the Batman: The Animated Series cartoon which may have flown under the radar among the deluge of games released at the time. While Batman's enemies were defeated in the first game, the revolving doors of Arkham Asylum have allowed the villains to return in Batman The Animated Series: Gotham City Under Siege — Masterminds and Mayhem. Both the base game and this expansion are designed by Michael Guigliano, and Richard Launius (known for Arkham Horror).

The goal of the game is for 1-5 players, taking on the role of Batman and the rest of the Bat family, to thwart the plans of the Masterminds who have deadlier weapons and improved tactics. Alongside armored cars and explosives, the villains now join their hired goons on the streets to fight Batman and his team directly. New Rooftop Villains and Act Leader Target mechanisms are also added. New Mastermind cards include The Joker, Two-Face, and The Riddler.

The game is aimed at players aged 14+ and plays in 45-60 mins. It's expected to release in October of 2019.
