Warhammer 40k board game, Relic, resurrected by WizKids

Relic fell out of publication when Fantasy Flight Games lost the licensing rights from Games Workshop. WizKids have now picked up the rights to produce the competitive, Warhammer 40k board game, which is based on the Talisman game system.
The Antian sector is facing untold horrors and 2-4 players venture forth to protect it from certain doom. Players choose from 10 unique characters who come from different factions and have different abilities. A scenario is then randomly chosen which affects the rules and objectives of that game. The players then compete to gain rewards and experience based on threats they encounter during missions, as they journey from the outer tiers of the board and make their way to the inner tier where the ultimate objective resides. Their progress inwards becomes harder and leveling up their characters becomes critical to their success. Games typically last 2-3 hours and are designed for players aged 14+.
WizKids are releasing a Standard and Premium Edition of Relic. The Premium Edition features 10 pre-painted, plastic busts for the characters, while the Standard Edition has unpainted, plastic busts. For more information, visit the WizKids product overview page on their website. Expect it's release in June of 2019.
