Go Solo or add Chaotic Goods in new Bargain Quest expansions
February 1, 2019 - 1:59am
Bargain Quest combines adventure and capitalism as 2-6 players take on the role of shopkeepers in a town plagued by monsters. Players secretly draft items, which are placed in their shop windows to attract heroes to their store. Once armed, the heroes battle threats and gain prestige and gold, which is added to the item shop they had most recently visited. The player with the most gold and prestige at the end of the game is the winner. Bargain Quest is designed by Jonathan Ying (known for Star Wars: Imperial Assault) with art by Victoria Ying. Renegade Game Studios have announced the release of 2 new expansions for the game. Bargain Quest: Solo Mode adds 20 competitor cards and rules for the Solo play mode of the game. Bargain Quest: Chaotic Goods adds 13 new heroes (who replace all the duplicate heroes in the base game), and 9 new employees. Both expansions are set to release in May of 2019.
