Asmodee in talks to acquire Polish company Rebel

The Asmodee Group has announced that they're in exclusive discussions with Polish board game and hobby product distributor, Rebel SP. Z. O.O. Rebel was founded by Piotr Katnik in 2003 and already has a long-standing relationship with Asmodee Group studios and partners. The deal would strengthen Asmodee Group's ability to access the fastest growing game market in Europe. Stéphane Carville, CEO of Asmodee Group said:

"We are delighted to establish a deeper partnership with Rebel and strengthen our position in Poland. Rebel and Asmodee have been partners for more than 10 years and this next step will allow us to bring our boardgames and those of our publishing partners to a new level in Poland."
