Normandy, the Beginning of the End - on Kickstarter

Normandy, the Beginning of the End is a new tactical wargame that is the fourth installment of the "War Storm Series." This edition allows players to lead troops through several scenarios from the June 6, 1944 D-Day landings and throughout Western Europe, with units from France, the United States, and Germany. The game is designed by Juan Carlos Cebrián and Nicolás Eskubi, with artwork by  Nicolás Eskubi. It's published by Draco Ideas. This platoon-level wargame comes with a Standard Manual that covers the War Storm Series rules in general, as well as an Exclusive Manual that houses rules specific to this module. The Standard Manual has been overhauled from previous versions, with editions in both English and Spanish. The War Storm Series game system uses a "We Go" mechanism of alternating unit activation. Normandy, the Beginning of the End also comes with numerous scenarios. Scenarios are played on isomorphic maps that can be set up in any configuration to meet the needs of the scenario. While more may be unlocked during the campaign, the game also will come with a scenario generator that allows players to create their own. It also comes with 788 counters and markers, representing platoons of men, heavy equipment and its crew, and vehicles. Markers for game sequence and special terrain are also included. For a larger pledge, you can also get the Alone in the Storm expansion which provides rules for solo and semi-cooperative play for the entire series, not just the Normandy installment. Normandy, the Beginning of the End is now on Kickstarter with a funding date of March 1, 2018. As of this writing, it has already more than doubled its funding goal. The expected delivery date is September 2018.
