Plan 9 From Outer Space The Deckbuilding Game On KS

Grim Games has started a Kickstarter Campaign for a deckbuilding card game based on the classic 1959 Ed Wood film, Plan 9 From Outer Space. Plan 9 is famous (or, rather, infamous) as being one of the worst movies ever made, and while it certainly is laughably full of mistakes, continuity errors, and may have suffered from the death of its star mid-filming, it maintains a huge cult following today. The Deckbuilding Game has 1-4 players constructing a deck representing the good guys, while aliens invade across 3 locations from an encounter deck. Each location card changes the game as aliens move through, and the aliens hurt the game more if they escape all 3 locations. If the encounter deck runs out, the players lose. The Kickstarter campaign for Plan 9 From Outer Space The Deckbuilding Game continues through November 23, and the game is expected to deliver in May 2018.
