Wizkids Announces Fantasy Realms Card Game

Wizkids has announced a new "combo-licious" fantasy card game for 3-6 players, Fantasy Realms, designed by Bruce Glassco (Betrayal at House on the Hill, Mystery! Motive for Murder). The rules are simple - draw a card from either the deck or discards, then discard a card, trying to make the best hand by playing the best combos. You can only have 7 cards, and the game ends when there are 10 cards in the discard area. Players can take several different directions in trying to create the best empire, from building an aggressive army to hiding and camping in the sheltered mountains, guaranteeing no two realms will ever be the same. Fantasy Realms is due for release in limited quantities at Origins Game Fair in June, then to the general public in August 2017. You can read the full press release at Wizkids website here.
