Z-Man Games has
announced the 10th expansion to
Carcassonne,
Under the Big Top. The circus is in town, and Under the Big Top adds several themed elements to the classic game. New circus tiles allow players to add a big top meeple and a face down numbered animal token, hoping to attract an audience of meeples. When the next circus tile is played, the animal token is revealed, and players score the number of their meeples on surrounding tiles multiplied by the animal value (1 to 7). Acrobat tiles allow players to form a meeple pyramid, stacking one meeple on top of a base of two of any color, scoring players 5 points per acrobat. Finally, Ringmaster meeples can be placedas normal, but in scoring gain an additional 2 points for every surrounding circus or acrobat tile.
Carcassonne: Under The Big Top will be released later in 2017.
