Crazy Driver powered by Carrera

Rudy Games , a German publisher, have announced Crazy Driver powered by Carrera . This collaboration between a board game publisher and a racing track & RC car producer is quite novel. Crazy Driver is a 2-4 player racing game, for ages 8+, which lasts between 30-60 mins. There is also integration with an app where players can see the track from the point of the view of the driver as their character progresses in the race. Origins 2020 Award Winners

The Origins Game Fair recognizes excellence in game design and seeks to promote hobby games through the annual Origins Awards (which started in 1975). Any publisher or designer can submit their products for consideration during the eligibility period which are then vetted by a jury of industry professionals. These nominees go through another round of judgement by the Academy of Adventure Gaming Arts & Design before winners are announced at the Awards ceremony.

Need for Speed: Quicksilver coming to Marvel Champions

Fantasy Flight Games (FFG) has announced the Quicksilver Hero Pack for Marvel Champions . Quicksilver follows the Protection aspect. His unique ability is that once per phase, after you use one of his basic powers (THW, ATK, or DEF), you can ready him. Pietro Maximoff is Quicksilver's alter ego, and he will help you cycle through your deck by discarding cards from your hand to draw cards. Another new feature in this hero pack is the first non-unique ally in the game, Multiple Man.

Renegade Games Studios announced new products based on their partnership with Hasbro, Inc . Expect roleplaying and deckbuilding games based on G.I. Joe (who have not had a board game since Battleship and Monopoly incarnations in 2009), My Little Pony (who currently only have a collectible card game and themed versions of Hasbro’s mass market games), Transformers (who just recently had their collectible card game from WizKids retire), and more Power Rangers games (a deck-building game has been announced).

Just in time for Halloween, IELLO has announced a monster pack for its King of Tokyo line of games, the Cthulhu Monster Pack. This monster pack is fully compatible with both the King of Tokyo and King of New York games.

Each of the monster packs brings in new mechanics to the games. Players can plot new strategies using the capabilities of the new monsters. Pandasaurus Games has launched a Kickstarter campaign for not one, but two games in the Dinosaur Island universe, Dinosaur World and Dinosaur Island: Rawr ‘n Write . The same design team is behind both games: Brian Lewis, David McGregor, and Marissa Misura. The same artists are also supplying the art for both games including Kwanchai Moriya, Stevo Torres, and Andrew Thompson, while Joe Shawcross is helping with the art on Dinosaur World exclusively.

Serious Poulp has launched a Kickstarter campaign for its reimplementation of the highly successful 7th Continent . The new game is entitled The 7th Citadel and the same two designers of the original game are behind this one, Ludovic Roudy and Bruno Sautter. Create wildlife habitats in Cascadia

Flatout Games has launched a Kickstarter campaign for Cascadia , a tile-placement set collection game of creating habitats in the Pacific Northwest of the U.S. for one to four players. The tiles in Cascadia are hexagons that either are all of one habitat or split between two habitats, from the game's five habitat types. Each tile will support one or two types of wildlife from the game's five types of wildlife. Each player starts with their own habitat starter, comprised of three habitat hexes.
