World of Warcraft Meets Pandemic
Z-Man Games has opened pre-orders for the latest game using the Pandemic Game System, World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King. The game is designed by Justin Kemppainen, Alexander Ortloff, and Michael Sanfilippo, with artwork supplied by Atha Kananni. The game supports 1-5 players, ages 14 and up, and takes 45-60 minutes to play.
In World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King, players team up as heroes, each with their own unique abilities, and journey to Northrend to face off with the armies of the Lich King. On the way, the players will set up strongholds, complete quests and battle with the legions of undead. The quest mechanic is a brand new one to the system and a very important one as in order to win the game, the players must complete 3 quests and then complete the Icedown Citadel quest to defeat the Lich King.
For further information about the game, the website for World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King gives more details and a downloadable copy of the rulebook. The game can also be pre-ordered from the Z-Man Games website.
