Truffle Shuffle to be released by AEG

AEG has announced a new family-weight card game, Truffle Shuffle. Alas, this is not a Goonies themed game, but never say die. The game is for 2-4 players ages 8 and up and takes approximately 15-30 minutes to play.

In Truffle Shuffle, players take turns selecting chocolate truffles from a common box, represented by a tableau of cards, as they work to build their own specialized box of truffles to meet customer demand. Some information on the truffle cards are hidden, so players must try to fulfill orders efficeintly before the round ends.  Players may also use special actions and abilities to get the sets they need.  The game ends after three rounds and whoever earns the most coins from order wins.

Looking back, this game also missed an opportunity for a Forrest Gump light-theme - but I'm sure the license was too high.
