Those Robots in Disguise Are Back. . .In a Deck-Builder
Renegade Game Studios has announced the Transformers Deck-Building Game, which is due out this coming summer. The game is designed by Matt Hyra and Dan Blanchett with artwork supplied by Matt Frank. Transformers Deck-Building Game plays 1-5 players, ages 13 and up, in 45-90 minutes.
Transformers Deck-Building Game can be played either competitively or cooperatively. In either case, the players are trying to defeat the Decepticons. The players take on the role of the Autobots, each of whom has their own special abilities. In the competitive version of the game, the players try and find out who is the “best of the best” by accumulating the most victory points, which are earned by defeating the Decepticons, acquiring relics, and thwarting the Decepticons’ schemes. In the cooperative version of the game, players share a group victory if they are able to avoid taking too much damage and defeat all of their adversaries.
The Transformers Deck-Building Game is available for pre-order now on the Renegade Game Studios website here. If you pre-order the game, a free promo pack comes with your order. For further information or to check out the rulebook, be sure and check the Renegade website.
