March 4, 2020 - 12:21am

“Bring victory to your house in Harry Potter™: House Cup Competition! Only the brightest future witches and wizards compete in The Op’s first Wizarding World™ worker placement game!”

TheOP has announced the latest in its Wizarding World line of Harry Potter board games, and this time it is a worker placement game. Harry Potter: House Cup Competition is coming this summer from designers Nate Heiss (The Red Dragon Inn: Battle for Greyport) and Kami Mandell (Harry Potter: Hogwarts Battle). In House Cup Competition, 2-4 players compete, representing the iconic houses at Hogwarts - Hufflepuff, Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. The game includes a unique scoring display, allowing players to track their progress to the coveted House Cup, and “reward the most successful strategies with a victory for your house.” Players use three “wizard-in-training” workers to attend those familiar classes all HP fans learn to love: Charms, Potions, Defence Against the Dark Arts, and others.
