Taking Trails through Parks
Keymaster Games has announced a new game in its Parks’ line of games, Trails. Trails is designed by Henry Audubon, who also designed Parks, using the same group of artwork as that game, the Fifty-Nine Parks Print Series. Trails plays 2-4 players, ages 10 and up, in 20-40 minutes.
In a desire to bring Parks to a more general audience, Trails streamlines the gameplay of the original game. Rather than using the U.S. National Parks System as the original game does, Trails focuses on the National Trail System including the Appalachian Trail, the Continental Divide Trail and the Pacific Crest Trail. In Trails, players hike across the table, collecting acorns, rocks, and leaves along the trail using a set collection mechanic.
Trails is due out in Target stores nationwide in the United States on June 20th. For further information, there are a couple of websites that you can check out here and here. The latter website includes a video on how to play and access to the rulebook so you can find out if Trails is a good fit for you, your family, and your friends.
