Tabletop Tycoon Donates $500,000 Worth of Games to Local Stores
Tabletop Tycoon, publisher of games such as Nemo's War and Everdell, recently announced that they have donated over $500,000 of games and assessories to local game stores as part of a progam launched to help retailers struggling due to the economic impact of the pandemic. The program launched on May 26th by accepting applications from local game stores to receive 'Local Store Recovery Packages' consisting of dozens of games from Tabletop Tycoon's catalog, including new releases. To date, 500 different local stores have been approved to receive these Local Store Recovery Packages.
"We are heartened by the reports of local stores receiving their Local Store Recovery Packages," said Dan Yarrington, President of Tabletop Tycoon. "It's encouraging to hear how this is bringing them much needed cash and a boost to morale during this challenging time. We will continue our efforts through more programs and policies to support local recovery."
Although the current allotment of Local Store Recovery Packages have been distributed and additional packages are not currently available, interested local stores can still apply to be included on the Tabletop Tycoon Local Store Locator and be notified of the availability of future Local Store Recovery Packages here.
