Space Magic and Cosmic Destruction Forthcoming

February 16, 2022 - 1:03pm

June Dune Games has launched a Kickstarter campaign for its initial game, Black Hole Rainbows.  The game supports 2-6 players, ages 8 and up and plays in about 40 minutes.

In Black Hole Rainbows, players are trying to save the universe by destroying it.  The game play, which was designed for a wide audience, is fairly straightforward.  On a player’s turn, players will roll their dice, place their light stones in attempts to complete a rainbow, use their space magic to roll the supernova die, and then mine more of the light stones.

According to the Kickstarter campaign page, the game has already been designed over the course of 2 years, illustrated, playtested, and manufactured, so the game’s anticipated delivery date is March 2022.  The game is fully funded and has, at the time of this writing, a little over 2 weeks to go in its campaign.  Check out the Kickstarter page here for more information on the game as well as the add ons that are available.
