Sorcerer Endbringer expansion on Kickstarter
Evil sorcerers battle for control of the mortal realm in a Victorian era, dark, fantasy setting. The Sorcerer core game supports 2 - 4 players with PVP play, while the Sorcerer: Endbringer expansion allows 1 - 3 players to battle a crazed demigod known as Maneater, who is crafted by the players, in a battle to the death. Sorcerer, and the Endbringer expansion, are designed by Peter Scholtz and published by White Wizard Games. It plays in roughly 30 – 90 minutes, depending on the number of players.
Players create Maneater by combining 1 of 4 Nemesis (who they are) cards, with 1 of 4 Aspect (which army they lead) cards, and 1 of 4 Scenario (what they are doing) cards, resulting in 64 different combinations. Each Nemesis card is oversized and comes with a large standee and a unique deck. Aspect cards are also oversized and come with their own “Horde Deck” which features deadly minions and unique game mechanisms. The scenario cards are also oversized and show special setup instructions, rules, and victory conditions.
The Kickstarter campaign features multiple add-ons for the game, as well as numerous pledge tiers depending on how deeply backers want to invest in the game. The Sorcerer: Endbringer Kickstarter campaign is already at 4x its funding goal with over 2,500 backers. The campaign ends on Thursday, July 23rd 2020, with estimated delivery planned for July of 2021.
