Sleeping Gods is Heading to Distant Skies
Red Raven Games is running a Gamefound campaign for a sequel to its hit cooperative game Sleeping Gods entitled Sleeping Gods: Distant Skies, which is once again designed by Ryan Laukat, who provided the game’s artwork as well. Sleeping Gods: Distant Skies plays 1-4 players, ages 13 and up, and takes 60-600 minutes. You need not have played Sleeping Gods in order to play the sequel.
In Sleeping Gods: Distant Skies, the players begin the game in San Francisco, 1937, as cargo plane pilots. However, something goes wrong and their planes go through some kind of portal in the sky and now they are in a land completely different from the one they just left. The question now is “Can the players get back to where they belong before the portal closes?” The game has branching story lines all of which are influenced by the choices that the players make.
At the time of this writing, the fully-funded Gamefound campaign has two weeks left. There are multiple pledge levels available. For further information, be sure and check out the campaign page for Sleeping Gods: Distant Skies here.
