Skellig Games is publishing Oracle, a trick-taking game with Greek mythology flavor
Oracle is a trick-taking game for 3-5 players. The game consists of cards numbered 1-12 in three suits: Phoenix, Hydra, and Pegasus. One wrinkle to standard trick-taking resolution in Oracle is that a 1 will defeat a 12 of the same suit. When a player wins a trick, they receive a score chip tied to one of the three suits. These chips will provide points at the end of the game, however whomever takes the last score chip of each suit has to return all of their chips of that suit. Additionally, each player has two oracle cards that provide hidden objectives, which will award points at the end of the game if successfully fulfilled.
Oracle is designed by prolific designer Stefan Dorra, who also designed For Sale and Medina. The art is by Christian Opperer. Skellig Games is releasing Oracle in November. You can pre-order it from their website beginning July 1st.
