Silver Coin joins the Silver series

March 3, 2020 - 10:55am

Silver Coin, by Beziers Games, follows previous two entries in the Silver line of games: Silver and Silver Bullet.  Like the previous two games, players attempt to reduce the number of werewolves in their village, which are represented by the number on each of the cards that make up their village.  Each card has a special ability that can help players rid the werewolves from their village.  The twist, of course, is that everyone starts with their cards face down and each player only know what two of the cards are. Players draw cards from either the deck or discard pile to activate powers or swap cards from their village to reduce the number of werewolves in it.  If a player thinks they have the fewest werewolves in their village, they can call for a vote, scoring zero points if they are correct, or suffering a 10 point penalty if they are not.  All other players add the total werewolves in their village to their score.  After four rounds, the player with the lowest score wins.

The silver coin is a special power, like the silver amulet and silver bullet in the previous two entries in this series, that protects a card from being viewed by the others.  Silver Coin can be played as a stand- alone game or combined with any or all of the games in the Silver line. The villagers in Silver Coin add new abilities to the Silver line of game.

Silver Coin is expected to be released this month.
