Scarlet Witch unleashes chaos magic in Marvel Champions

Fantasy Flight Games has announced the Scarlet Witch Hero Pack for Marvel Champions: The Card Game. The pre-built 40 card deck features the avenger Scarlet Witch and her alter ego, Wanda Maximoff. She adheres to thhe Justice aspect. What makes her unique is her powers involve thinning the encounter deck, so players must be judicious in their use, or they will accumulate acceleration tokens. Additionally, her deck contains two copies of her obligation, Slipping Sanity, which forces players to choose between exhausting or risk gaining threat on the main scheme. Fortunately, Scarlet Witch has multiple cards that remove threat from the scheme. 

The Scarlet Witch Hero Pack is designed by Michael Boggs, Nate French, and Caleb Grace. It is scheduled for a retail release in January 2021, along with a Scarlet Witch game mat. For more details, check out the announcement from FFG.
