Save your empire while on the brink of collapse in Empire's End

August 8, 2022 - 1:04pm

Brotherwise Games is bringing the upcoming John D. Clair game, Empire's End to crowdfunding later this year. Empire's End has players controlling empires at the height of their power and influence. As the game progresses, new disasters will befall society, and each empire will need to do its best to avoid collapse. But if they do take on the disaster (famine, flood, barbarians, etc), they gain wisdom and resiliency for future disasters. The game focuses on an auction/bidding mechanic similar to the classic title No Thanks, where the lowest bidder will receive the disaster, but they also receive all of the bids from the other players.

Empire's End will feature art from Kwanchai Moriya. It is set to crowdfund in November 2022 with a projected release in 2023. It is for 2-4 players, 45-60 minutes, and ages 10+.
