Red is on the Rise
Stonemaier Games has announced its upcoming release, Red Rising, based on a series of books by Pierce Brown. The game is designed by Jamey Stegmaier and Alexander Schmidt, with artwork provided by Jacqui Davis, Miles Bensky, and Justin Wong. The game plays 1-6 players, ages 14 and up, in 45-60 minutes.
In Red Rising, players represent a house attempting to gain power as they gain followers. The game relies heavily on hand management, as the players cards act as their followers, whom they will send out to locations on the board to activate them. Then the player will gain a card from another location or from the deck and add it to their hand, working to increase the amount of points for the game end.
Red Rising will be available to try on Tabletopia before the pre-order, which is coming up in March 2021. For further information about the game, be sure and check the Stonemaier Games website here.
