The Reckoners Are Expanding!
Nauvoo Games has announced the first expansion for its highly-regarded cooperative game, The Reckoners, which was based on the series of young adult novels written by Brandon Sanderson. The expansion, The Reckoners: Steelslayer, is designed by the original game’s designers, Brett Sobol and Seth Van Orden. The artwork is provided by Noah Adelman, Miguel Coimbra, and Ian O’Toole, all of whom contributed to the artwork of the original game. The game plays 1-6 players, ages 14 and up, in about 75 minutes.
Just as the original game is, the expansion is cooperative, adding 4 new modules that can be mixed and matched to play with the base game. Module 1 includes 4 new reckoners, while module 2 includes 18 new pieces of equipment, 31 remastered and 7 brand new epics are included in module 3 and finally, if you thought the base game too easy, there are boss epics and cities included in module 4.
This fully-funded Kickstarter campaign offers individuals who missed out on the original campaign to pick up the base game along with The Reckoners: Steelslayer expansion, which will be unavailable through retail once this campaign is over. There are multiple pledge levels available for both Deluxe and Epic editions of the game and the expansion, as well as different add-ons available, including other games that Nauvoo has published. The game is expected to deliver in August 2021.
