Portal Games updates publishing plans for remainder of the year
We've already seen most board game conventions get canceled in 2020 due to COVID-19, which impacts publishers ability to promote new games, but the pandemic also effects their ability to produce and ship games. More and more publishers are identifying delays in the release of new products. Portal Games has recently provided an update on their publishing plans for the remainder of 2020.
Both Million Dollar Script and Vienna Connection, which Portal had planned to release this year, have been postponed to 2021. However, Detective: Signature Series - Dig Deeper, Imperial Settlers: Rise of the Empire, Empires of the North: Barbarian Hordes and Detective: Season One are still on track to release later this year.
Promotional tournament events for Neuroshima Hex have been canceled, but fans will get something new to look forward to. The Troglodytes army expansion for Neuroshima Hex will be available September 5th and Portal is planning an online event for fans. Also, the sibling game, Monolith Arena, will get a Golem army pack in the third quarter as well.
