Rippling rivers, rustling forests, wheat fields swaying in the wind and here and there a cute little village - that's Dorfromantik!

Dorfromantik is an immensely popular and addictive tile-laying video game released in March 2021 by Toukana Interactive. In Dorfromantik, players place hexagonal terrain tiles from a limited stack, slowly growing a quaint village landscape. Tiles can have houses, farms, trees, rivers, trains, and more. Points and more tiles are awarded for fulfilling conditions on the tiles, and for creating perfectly pretty regions. And as these things are want to go, publisher Pegasus Spiele has announced a cooperative board game based on the comforting village builder, playable by up to 6. The board game is being designed by Michael Palm and Lukas Zach, the team behind Bang! The Dice Game. Dorfromantik the Boardgame is scheduled to release in Q4 2022, with a small amount available to purchase at Essen Spiel, this October.
