Masters of the Universe: Fields of Eternia Board Game

Players choose from a variety of factions to either fight back the forces of Evil or seek to control Castle Grayskull and claim the power of the universe. During the game, players undertake quests to power up their characters while encountering familiar foes and monsters on their journeys across mountains, forests, and swamp lands. Key locations are won to increase their faction’s power throughout the land.

Archon Studio will release Masters of The Universe: Fields of Eternia The Board Game exclusively in Europe on Kickstarter. CMON are also releasing a Masters of the Universe board game so there may be licensing reasons for it not being released anywhere else.

Detective: City of Angels Set

Van Ryder Games recently announced they would would offer Detective: City of Angels through retail distribution and no longer sell it exclusively as a Select title due to a number of changes, including the founders going full-time. There would be no difference between the retailer and Kickstarter versions other than some slight changes to the box cover. They also plan to release Single Case Packs, which include everything needed to play them standalone, into retail instead of 4 case expansions they currently release.

Pandasaurus also announced Dinosaur World with gameplay elements sounding similar to Dinosaur Island, from the same designer and publisher. 2-4 players will create parks with dinosaurs as attractions, and maintain the balance of keeping the visitors and dinosaurs happy ... and alive. Expect more news as it Kickstarts later in the year.
