July 4, 2020 - 1:32pm

“Appreciating the majesty of our national parks doesn’t have to be limited to your next visit! With a wide array of iconic views, exciting activities, and countless opportunities to engage with history, culture, and nature, it’s no wonder the parks typically attract more than 300 million visits from around the world each year. Not only are the parks a peaceful escape, but they also serve a home to all kinds of wildlife that inhabit these important places!”

The Op, formerly USAopoly, has just announced the latest in their National Parks Collection, National Parks: Get Wild. In Get Wild, 3-6 players each take a player board from one of 12 national parks including Yellowstone, Yosemite, Everglades, Crater Lake, The Grand Canyon, and more. Players then frantically roll their 3 custom dice, trying to move animals from player board to player board, in an attempt to populate their own board with animals unique to that specific national park. The 3 dice dictate which animal can be moved, how many can be moved, and where they can be moved. A round ends as soon as a player has only their native animal in their park. The first player to reach 20 points claims victory!

National Parks: Get Wild includes three separate ways to play, And like all National Parks games, an Adventure Guide for “Fun Animal Facts”. Get Wild plays in about 20 minutes, and comes with double sided player boards, 60 animal tokens, 18 custom dice and 45 scoring points. For more details check out the National Parks: Get Wild webpage from The Op here. The game is available now at your FLGS.
