A One-of-a-Kind War Game

May 11, 2021 - 2:31pm

Indie Game Studios, in partnership with Fryx Games, has launched a Kickstarter campaign for  Angel Fury: The Battle for a Human Soul, which is designed by Daniel Fryxelius.  Fryxelius also supplied the artwork along with his brother, Isaac Fryxelius.  The game plays 1-4, ages 14 and up, in 1-2 hours.

Angel Fury bills itself as a “one-of-a-kind war game with stakes of Biblical proportions.”  The goal of the game is to reach 7 soul points to win the game. Players gain soul points if their troops are in an area which holds a human soul.    On their turns, players will deploy units, improve their decks, move their troops, and prepare for battle.  At the end of their turns, players will gain resources to make themselves stronger in order to gain the human souls they need to win the game.

The Kickstarter campaign for Angel Fury: The Battle for a Human Soul ends on May 21, 2021.  The game is already fully funded.  There are videos available for those interested to watch as well as the rulebook for the game itself on the Kickstarter page.  The game is expected to deliver in March 2022.
