Mysterium Kids does cooperative deduction with a tambourine

“Legend has it that the old mansion on the outskirts of the city is home to a fabulous treasure! Hoping to find it, you decide to spend the night there, and the ghost of Captain Echo offers to help in your search.”

Designers Antonin Boccara, Yves Hirschfeld along with publisher Libellud have announced Mysterium Kids: Captain Echo’s Treasure. In this cooperative children’s title, each turn one player gets to be the ghost, using only a tambourine to give clues towards picking the correct revealed noise card. Players work together to try and solve the mystery before the moon travels across the sky, and the night is over.

2013’s award-winning title Mysterium is a cooperative Dixit-like game, where one spirit player leaves cards as clues for the rest of the paranormal investigators to correctly pick a murderer, a weapon, and a location.

Mysterium Kids appears to be in limited release now, with more coming this holiday season.
