More Dune Gaming Goodness on the Way!

Gale Force Nine has announced another Dune game to join the other two already in its lineup, Arrakis: Dawn of the Fremen.  The game is designed by Bill Eberle, Jack Kittredge, Peter Olotka, Greg Olotka, and Jack Reda. The artwork for the game is supplied by Gaspar Gombos, Janos Gardos, Peter Lerner, Mark Molnar, and Zsolt Szabados. Arrakis: Dawn of the Fremen is for 2-4 players, ages 14 and up, and takes between 60 and 90 minutes to play.

Arrakis: Dawn of the Fremen is set before the Dune novels begin as the players fight for control of Arrakis.  Each player controls a tribe of Fremen warriors, making hard decisions as to bargaining, cooperating, and competing in order to have their tribe survive.  The tribes must make weapons and sietches to survive, gaining and protecting the scarce resources Arrakis provides, harnessing the power of the sandworms for battle, and creating the communal cave dwellings called sietches. Will your tribe survive?
