Matching Memories in a Strategic Manner
Keymaster Games, who published the game PARKS, which featured the U.S. National Parks, is back with a standalone game that again features those same parks. The new game, PARKS Memories, actually has 3 different editions, each of which features different parks. Collectively, the three editions include all of the U.S. National Parks. PARKS Memories is designed by Kyle Key, plays 2-8 players ages 8 and up, in about 20-30 minutes.
PARKS Memories encourages players to “Take a leisurely hike down memory lane in this strategic memory game featuring Park art.” The game play for each edition of PARKS Memories is the same: players will draw 2 tiles on their turn, taking one of those revealed tiles into their collection, add another tile to the board, and block a tile with their hiker. They will also use any special abilities they have if they choose to do so. The player who completes 3 matching sets of tiles will win the game.
PARKS Memories is available from your FLGS and/or Barnes & Noble this month. You can choose from the Plains Walker edition, which features the parks in the plains region of the U.S. (see the website here), the Mountaineer edition, which features the mountainous U.S. parks (see here), and the Coast to Coast edition, which highlights the parks that have tremendous bodies of water in them (see here).
