Mandoo Games looks back and announces Reflecto

Mandoo Games and designer Roberto Fraga, the twisted mind behind Captain Sonar and Dr. Eureka, have announced Reflecto, a 2-player game of anagrams and abstract strategy. In Reflecto, players have Stratego-like pieces on a 7x7 square grid, which move in a Checkers-like manner. On the side facing the player, hidden from the opponent, 5 of the pieces have a dry erase area on which to write one letter from your secret word. 2 of the pieces, however, have a mirrored surface on the player’s side. But of course, you cannot see any of this on your opponents’ pieces. To win the game, place your letters on the edge of board to make your secret word. Or use your mirror pieces to figure out the opponent's letters and guess their secret word.

Reflecto is scheduled to debut at Essen Spiel 2022 in October.
