Ludonaute looks into the future with Precognition

July 3, 2022 - 5:53pm

Did you see this one coming? Publisher Ludonaute has announced Precognition, a new title from designer Julien Prothière, uillustrated by Sébastien Caiveau. Precognition is a card drafting game about predicting a future world in order to save humans. The game features a unique “dual select mechanism”, where the card draft can, to a certain extent, be predicted. Each round, players have two freshly drawn cards in hand, and two
cards in the Decision Zone of their player board. One of these four is played out this turn, and one of the two Decision Zone cards goes to the Decision Zone of the player to your left. The two
unselected cards become the decision zone of the player to your right, so one of them will come back to you next turn. The goal in Precognition is to collect healthy humans, which require food,
medics, and protectors. The player with the most humans (fed) at the end of the game wins.

Precognition is scheduled to release in English, German, and Spanish, in late September 2022. For more information, check out the Precognition webpage here.
