Jump Drive gets a Terminal Velocity expansion
Jump Drive by Thomas Lehmann is a 2017 card game that was originally touted as a lighter version of the award winning Race for the Galaxy. Jump Drive uses cards for most of aspects of the original Race - Technology and Planet cards are paid for with other cards. Money income from played cards translates into more card draws. And played cards bring in point income each turn. This turns Jump Drive into a very fast game - about 10 minutes once you know how to play.
Rio Grande Games has just announced the first expansion for Jump Drive - Terminal Velocity, co-designed with Eric Kaminsky. Terminal Velocity adds new game cards, optional start worlds and goals, material for a fifth player, and solo play. Jump Drive: Terminal Velocity should be coming to retail early in 2023.
