Harness the Power of the Stars!
Dranda Games has launched a Kickstarter campaign for its latest title, Solar Sphere. The game is designed by the team of Ayden Lowther and Simon Milburn. The artwork is supplied by Igor Ershov and Elias Stern. The solo mode was designed by David Digby and expansion content was designed by Jonny Pac. Solar Sphere supports 1-4 players (for the base game), ages 12 and up, and takes about 90 minutes to play.
Solar Sphere is set 10 years after Dranda’s previous game, Solar Storm. Unlike Solar Storm, Solar Sphere is a competitive game in which the players, as captains of their own crews, are attempting to build the solar sphere, but are facing competition not only from the other players, but the Resistance as well. The Resistance does not want the solar sphere built and will use all means at their disposal to keep the players from building it. As the captain of a handpicked crew, you will use their special abilities to help bring you to victory.
Solar Sphere is already fully funded and has almost 3 weeks left in its Kickstarter campaign. The base game and multiple expansions, including one that adds a fifth player, are all available through the campaign. Several stretch goals have been unlocked.
