Gravwell Makes a Return
Renegade Game Studios has announced that Gravwell: Escape from the 9th Dimension, originally published in 2013, is being released in a new edition. The game was designed by Corey Young and the artwork is being provided by Kwanchai Moriya for the second edition. The game originally supported 1-4 players, but with the new edition, the player count is increased to 6. The game is for players aged 12 and up and plays in about 30-40 minutes.
In Gravwell: Escape from the 9th Dimension, players control ships that have been trapped in a black hole. With nothing around them but asteroids supplying basic elements, the ships must collect enough fuel to get themselves home using tractor and repulsor beams, all while trying to avoid the repulsor beams that the other players have constructed, which would send them in the wrong direction. Besides upping the player count and the brand new artwork, each of the player ships now has a new sculpt and each has a play power that is unique to them.
The second edition of Gravwell: Escape from the 9th Dimension is now available for pre-order in the United States on the Renegade Game Studios website here. The game is due to release in June 2021.
