Funko Games releasing Disney Kingdomania

Funko Games excels at creating expandable games and their upcoming release of Disney Kingdomania plays to their strengths. Players are tasked with helping their favorite Disney and Pixar characters save an 8-bit, video game world of adorable chaos, which is stylized after classic pixelated games. The game will utilize blind-bag toys containing characters from multiple Disney and Pixar universes. Disney Kingdomania is sold as a Super Game Pack containing 4 characters (including figures), two powerful items, and 20 game tiles. There are also portable Game Balls holding two characters and 12 tiles each. Both are complete and playable forms of the game.

There are glitches in the video game world, mixing up the levels, and players must patch these glitches before it's “Game Over” for the characters and their digital world. There are 40 figures to collect including Buzz Lightyear, Mickey Mouse, Stitch, and Princess Tiana. Items such as Aladdin’s Magic Carpet, and Maleficent’s Spinning Wheel ,which impact story actions and outcomes. Items are collectable, along with interchangeable tiles used to form the game board allowing for a variety of play. Powerful items are exclusive to the Super Game Packs while the “glitched” (and rarer) versions of character figures are only found in the Game Balls.

The game supports 1-2 players, aged 6+, and is planned for release in The Fall of 2022.
