Funagain to close down its Logistics and Distribution divisions
In 2019, Funagain Logistics and Distribution was created when Funagain Fulfillment bought and merged with both Ship Naked and Hit Point Sales. At the time, the idea was to expand Funagain’s campaign logistics service and allow them to have greater global fulfillment capabilities.
On January 16th, the company announced on their Twitter page, that they will be ceasing operations as of April 30th 2023 and will no longer be offering any fulfillment, storage, or distribution services. The decision was made due to the increasing costs of operational costs preventing the company from moving forward as it wanted to. Funagain will continue to process all pending projects that are in their warehouse and webstore orders until March 3rd, 2023, after which they will stop all fulfillments and shift their employees focus to shutting down their warehouse.
It is important to note that while the Logistics and Distribution portion of Funagain is ceasing operations, the remaining Funagain divisions (website, brick & mortar stores, and game business) will remain operational.
