Two former vice-presidents from video game powerhouse Blizzard Entertainment, Chris Metzen and Mike Gilmartin have been working hard to turn a hobby into a dream. Blizzard, as most people know, is one of the most regarded video game development houses, producing the Diablo series, Warcraft in all its forms, and Starcraft. In 2018, after leaving Blizzard, the pair founded Warchief Gaming, originally a gaming club in Orange County dedicated to tabletop games. And while Warchief still operates as such, the company recently announced that Warchief will be diving into world creation and board game development. To this end, they have partnered with gaming veteran Ryan Collins (Hearthstone, Heroclix), who will be acting as lead product developer. For more details, visit the Warchief website, or read their press release here. No details have been given so far on any products under development.
