Pandemic Legacy Season Zero

Z-Man Games has announced the final volume of the Pandemic Legacy trilogy, Pandemic Legacy: Season 0.  Matt Leacock and Rob Daviau, the designers behind the first two Pandemic Legacy games, have returned to design this last game in the series.  The artwork for the game is supplied by multiple artists including Dan Gerlach, Monica Helland, Atha Kanaani, and Samuel Shimota.  The game plays 2-4 players, ages 14 and up, in 45-60 minutes.

Set in 1962, the events of Pandemic Legacy: Season 0 take place well before those of the previous 2 Pandemic Legacy games.  However, it should be noted that it is not necessary to have played the first 2 games in order to play the newest Pandemic Legacy game.

In Pandemic Legacy: Season 0, the players are medical students who have received an additional level of training, making them just the people to be able to root out Soviet agents, stabilize international incidents, and stop a new pathogen before a global pandemic occurs.  The cooperative nature of the game lends itself to the players completing missions while watching each other's backs.  The Legacy nature of the game guarantees that things will change from game to game as the games are played out over the course of 1 game year.

The game is now availabe for pre-order on the Z-Man Games website and is anticipated by the end of the year.
