Dune: Imperium deck builder coming soon from Dire Wolf Digital

The new Legendary Pictures adaptation of Dune may have been delayed a year, but that has not stopped the licensed board games from being developed. Dune: Imperium, from Dire Wolf Digital and Clank! designer Paul Dennen is a deck building board game based on the movie adaptation of Frank Herbert’s 1965 science fiction masterwork. The first original Dune game in 40 years, Imperium is an amalgam of traditional worker placement and deck-building, using the cards to add hidden information. Play as one of the leaders of the Landsraad, the great houses vying for political power over the universe.

Dune: Imperium will come as a core box, or with a deluxe upgrade pack, adding cosmetic improvements, including 65 miniatures. Pre-orders for Dune: Imperium open on October 29, and the game is expected to deliver in Q1 2021. For more details, visit the Dire Wolf Digital website here.
