DLP announces a new game that will "Rise" from their catalogue

September 1, 2022 - 8:44am

DLP, the publisher behind Orleans, have announced Rise, to be released in 2022. It is designed by Remo Conzadori and Marco Pranzo (the same team behind dlp's 2018 title Manitoba) with art from Christian Opperer

In Rise, players assume control of the development of a city. Using a unique card system, players will influence the culture, well-being, politics, science, etc of their city to provide the best conditions for their citizens, while managing how it all affects their satisfaction and the environment. As you play the game, you will move up 10 different tracks in order to gain effects and power.

Rise plays 2-4 players, in 60 minutes, and ages 10+. Rise should be available in Europe at the Essen Spiel. Publisher Capstone will be distributing Rise in the US, with pre-orders starting September 7, and a November release date.
